So here we go, Euro 2012 has selected which countries will play one against the other. We are talking about the coming European Soccer Cup, to be held next Summer in Poland and Ukraine.
At least that Euro will be alive for then. As for the other euro, well, as we know bets are open.
But the soccer drawing for the group with Italy seems to be a divinely inspired joke. Look at it: Italy, Spain, Ireland and Croatia. Only the latter has yet to join a monetary union of some kind. But all of the four countries I have forecasted in a previous post to be among the leaders of my depreciated “yellow euro” area, competing with the strong “blue euro” of France, Germany and its satellites.
Let us hope that at least one these fab-four will win Euro 2012, it will be a sweet revenge to defeat France and Germany.
